As a writer of a hybrid blog/column, I am
always poking around other people's blogs to see what is
on their mind. In the case of local boutiques and
reading the store owners' blogs, let's see what's new.
Raye Boutique
on Dunlavy is always an eclectic go-to spot for fresh
clothing, shoes and accessories. Owner Magda Sayeg keeps
shoppers in the loop with her blog, updated with new
designs and sale info. Nobody knows the inventory better
than shop owners so you truly get the goods when reading
Sayeg's blog. She updates it a few times a week.
B. Ellen,
a hip boutique in Cypress is just as current as any
inner loop locale, thanks to owner Brandy Divin's great
eye. She keeps shoppers up to date with her
blog, featuring clothing, shoes,
accessories and even fun gift ideas such as lotions and
candles. Like Sayeg, Divin updates her blog regularly,
giving readers extra incentive to shop.
